This Peaceful Place
Leaves dance, dance,
Rhythmically moving,
Beaconing flight freedom,
To chase the sky.
Waves peak, water curves,
Moving, rushing to meet the tide,
Blue and Silver, colours flash,
As golden tips survive and die.
A boat nearby, curses it's moar,
Gurgle, gurgle, let me loose,
Untie this wretched knot,
And let me glide, glide to the sky.
Little bee, rests on wood,
Cleaning and resting little wings,
Freedom to fly, pink yellow flowers,
To home with Pollen.
Birds flick and flutter,
They play unknown games,
They skim the peaking waves,
Toss a fish and sail home.
My spirit, my dream survives here,
I rest close inside,
I soar and trace these waters,
Today my heart stays here.
